Questions frequently asked by Vancouver Area Residents

Q. I live in the Vancouver area but the class I want to take is not being offered by my school district. What can I do?
A. Because I don't have the time to teach every class in every area, I try to spread them out geographically and time wise. Check the locations and maps to see what other school would suit your schedule. The little extra drive is more than worth it. You can contact the school to register. If you would like further instructions on how to get there, please contact me. As well, I teach Decorating Coach classes elsewhere. Check out Dessert & Decor Events

Q. The class I signed up for has been cancelled, do I have other options?
A. Every now and then there aren't enough students to run a class. Unfortunately, the class usually gets cancelled only a day before and it's too late to make other plans. The irony is that often a school close by is running a full class. It's a good idea to check with the school a week before and ask if the class is a go for sure. If it's in question, email or call and I'll let you know of other locations that are running. That way, you can have a backup plan.

Q. The class I want to take has been already taught in every location this semester or the class I want to take is not being taught this semester, what can I do?
A. If I have 6 students, I will set up another class that I will teach from my home. Give me your name and I'll put it on a waiting list. I'll check with other classes and post a notice on the website. You can check with friends as well and we'll come up with a class as soon as possible.

Q. I'm not sure if this is the class for me, or if I even have the ability to do the projects.
A. Email Susan at susan@thedecoratingcoach.com and discuss your needs to see if there's a match.

Q. I might have to miss a class.”
A. You can make up a class at a later date: another school or next semester. Just come as my guest and of course, there is no charge. (Contact me ahead of time to ensure that the class is running.)
